Perpetual Care means a portion of every plot purchase goes towards the long-term maintenance of these grounds - mowing, upkeep, and preservation - so the cemetery remains cared for well into the future. Aransas Memorial Park is Rockport's only Perpetual Care Cemetery.

No. We're a cemetery - we handle the grounds, plot selection, and interment. Funeral services (embalming, viewings, and funeral arrangements) are handled by a funeral home. If you don't already have one in mind, we're glad to help point you in the right direction. 

Cremation itself is performed through funeral homes, not directly by the cemetery. Aransas Memorial Park is part of South Texas Memorial, which also operates South Texas Cremation Services - you're welcome to ask your funeral home to use them. What we do offer directly is space for cremated remains: Cremation plots and columbarium niches. 

You choose. Families are free to select the exact plot they want in the section that means the most to them - not a place assigned in order. 

It funds ongoing maintenance and preservation of the grounds, so Aransas Memorial Park remains a peaceful, well-kept place for your family to return to for generations. 

Yes. We offer flexible financing with 10% down and no interest, so you don't have to pay the full cost upfront. 

Yes - all plots must be paid in full before a service can be scheduled or a monument set. 

Yes. Any veteran with their DD214 may receive any ground plot at Aransas Memorial Park at no cost to them.

Yes. Any ground plot in any section is provided at no cost for infant burial.
